Aura Garcia Sanchez is an actress on Spanish films and television. She has appeared as an actor in Stockholm and the television series El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido began her career in Madrid, in 1989. Tomas Garrido, her father, is an orchestra conductor and composer, while Pilar Sanchez is a painter. In her fourth year she started taking piano classes and, shortly after, she began ballet. One of her best friends was a native English native, so she was taught English by her. When she completed her high-school education she entered into the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico. She studied both interpretive and textual interpretation during her third year. The role won her an award of Silver Biznaga in the Best Supporting Actress category, and a nomination for the Goya Awards' best debut actress.
