Melissa Suzanne George is an actress, businesswoman, inventor and model from Australia. Melissa George began her professional career as a model and actor in Australia, but eventually relocated to Hollywood. George is a native of Perth from Western Australia, began her career in dance and roller skating. She also enjoyed artistic roller skating. Her modeling career began in her early teens. She won Western Australia Teenage Model Year 1992. In an episode of the soap-opera on Seven Network, Home and Away, she made her debut on screen the next year. Her big screen debut was in Dark City, a mystery thriller. Her subsequent roles included supporting roles on projects such as Alias The Limey or Down with Love. In 2005, she made her first mainstream Hollywood appearance on The Amityville Horror remake. The popularity of her character in American shows is a testament to her success. George launched Style Snaps, her product as the inventor.
