Anne Celeste Heche (born in 1939) was an American actress who played various roles in television, films as well as the stage. Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney June. 6 in 1953) is known as an American film actress. She is most well-known as Lieutenant Sheba in the tv series Battlestar Galactica ( 1978-1979). She is the daughter and granddaughter of daughter of actors Gene Lockhart, as well as actor June Lockhart. The career of Lockhart began in a young age. In the age of 4Lockhart was in the role of T is for Tumbleweed. The short film on the subject was chosen for nomination for the Oscar Awards. Mother and daughter spent many hours together while filming, gaining knowledge about the business. Lockhart has even appeared on many Lassie episodes. The first film she appeared in is Dora in Jory in 1972. She played the daughter of Joan Crawford on The Sixth Sense, a 1972 TV series. Joan was the final actor to make an appearance in The Sixth sense. It is believed that Anne turned down the role as Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's 1978 thriller Halloween which was later recast for Jaime Lee Curtis. The actor. Carpenter says that he would like her to play the role but she declined it down. Anne does not remember being being contacted with the name of John Carpenter nor being offered the position. Maybe one of her agents decided to decline the role on her behalf, without notifying the actress. She was initially chosen to play the role by Glen Larson who sent her a very preliminary script for the role on the 1978 television series Battlestar Galactica. She initially rejected the part because she felt that the character wasn't strong enough. Glen was able to write a stronger part with Sheba. The Living Legend, the first twenty-five pages of which she read, was immediately accepted. It ran for a single season. The show also featured her with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine, Desi Arnaz (son Desi Arnaz & Lucille ball) in Joyride in 1977. She also co-starred with Michael Moriarty as The Dark Tower in 1987.
